Welcome to Smithy's Smokery where passion, meat, and fire meet!
It started a long, long time ago in a backyard far, far away. When Old Man Smithy was Young Man Smithy, he would spend his days in his backyard smoking pork butts.
His pull pork sandwiches became a hit in his local neighborhood. He was a big sports fan, so he put some cash together, bought a catering set, and started selling them at tailgates.
He knew he was on to something, so he experimented with other items. The biggest hit turns out to be a St.Louis staple Snoot Sandwiches. After settling down in San Diego, Ca, Smithy knew his calling would open a restaurant.
So he got some money together and started at small farmers' markets. From there, he knew he needed three core pillars to make a small local restaurant work.
